WELCOME TO SKYDIVE VOSS!

Our season runs from the last weekend in April through the middle of September.

First time jumpers, experienced jumpers, members and spectators are welcome to visit our beautiful drop zone.

At Skydive Voss you get to experience the magic combination of the spectacular nature and the “Vossa spirit” – an open and inclusive spirit at the drop zone!  

During these months, we offer beginner skydiving courses every week, and tandem skydives every day.  

Different events and training courses are organised to offer members and visitors unique experiences and to give the opportunity to progress in the sport.

The drop zone is located 5 minutes from the town of Voss, and only an hour from Bergen. The wind tunnel is located in between the town and the drop zone.

ABOUT SKYDIVE VOSS:

Founded in 1978 by Odd Dagfinn Hårklau Is the largest skydiving club in Norway, with more than 30 000 jumps being done at the drop zone every year. The club has about 3000 members.

Trains more than 200 new skydivers every year and does approximately 2000 tandem skydives as well. A sports club organised with a board consisting of 6 members and 2 representatives from the Norwegian Skydiving Federation. 

FACILITIES:

Thanks to our members and volunteers we have a1100 sq.m clubhouse. We have a large communal area, a café and an open fireplace. We also have 20 bunkrooms, changing rooms, showers, video/film room, rigging loft, offices and a school building. Our clubhouse and outside areas are being continously upgraded.  

The clubhouse can be rented out over the winter for different occasions. Voss Ski resort is only 10 minutes away. Contact us if you want to stay here or use the facilities for any event.

Caravan D-FOXY: ​

Skydive Voss is pleased to have a partnership with Jan Wildgruber and his team.

His Caravan has a Grand Caravan engine and 4–blade propeller, with the catchy registration name D-FOXY.

They have been here at Skydive Voss since 2013. FOXY is upgrading her engine in the fall of 2015, and for the season of 2016 Jan and Gareth are returning with a new, stronger and better FOXY-plane. Jumpers will have shorter waiting times on the ground, and a much faster climb to altitude.

We are excited! The plane carries 15 skydivers, and goes to 13500 feet every day, and to 15000 feet on Thursdays and for special events.
